internet explorer's export function for favorites simply...sucks. it took me weeks of installing & uninstalling various applications to find a utility that would keep links alphabetized in folders nested in multiple layers, as well as retain alphabetizing of the shortcuts themselves in those folders. what i'm using now is a great little application- check out the author's link at the bottom of the page!
to search this page manually, hit Ctrl-F and type in what you're looking for. i'm pretty careful about filing bookmarks; the menus are accurate. also, i tend to copy links that fit more than one heading into both headings, so it should be pretty easy to find things. i've eliminated (at least most of) the bad links but if you find one, email me and i'll dump it!
